My latest review has just been published of the Falcon Acoustics LS3/5a MoFi edition speakers!

https://theaudiobeatnik.com/review-mofi-edition-ls3-5a-monitor-loudspeakers/

Having never heard any of the classic BBC minimonitor designs, I was intrigued by these and had no idea what to expect. After spending a few months with them, I now understand the hype! These small speakers do something very special with vocals and instruments. Don't judge a book by it's cover, because these plain-looking speakers kick out some amazing depth and texture!

A great speaker choice, especially for smaller rooms!

Please enjoy the read and I welcome any and all feedback.

I have no functional need for an office system, but I often day dream of getting one at some point. And the various LS3/5a options have always seemed like a good choice for that set up. But the finances get applied elsewhere for now. But maybe someday down the line.

I will say that a MoFi Studiodeck/Ultradeck, MoFi LS3/5a, and a Mastersound Box would be a sweet looking system.

So I gather from Sean's review that the MoFi edition is not as good as the Falcon branded version? But the Falcon version costs quite a bit more?

Any idea where the Falcon version can be found in the US market?

I believe Tone Imports is the US distributor. I'd call them.

Great review Drew! I was surprised that the Cambridge + the MoFi speaker pairing was so engaging, perhaps more so than the Norma (if I read you correctly).

Yep, it really seemed to pair up nicely with the lesser priced amplifier options.

However, the experiences I wrote about with the three vocal tracks were all with the Norma pairing.

    Thanks so much for reading.
