Black Cambridge Audio 851a integrated amplifier. Condition is conservatively rated 9/10 due to small scuff on top panel only visible under certain lighting conditions. Original factory double box, remote, and all accessories included.
Purchased from authorized Cambridge Audio dealer (AudioThesis), was a lightly used demo unit.
Asking $900 shipped, PM if seriously interested for photos. Thanks.

I like to have a lot of gear on hand for reviewing speakers, in order to share insight into how they sound with different types of amps.
-
That would be a fun problem to have.

Forgot how heavy this thing is. 33lbs!
Small scuff/scratch that I mentioned:

Just finished listening to it for several hours and now I am reconsidering selling it. Impressive.
It has that classic Cambridge Audio house sound. Nice wide soundstage, good imaging, big sweet spot. -
I have the Cambridge Audio 840E preamp, and two 840W amps, in my HT. Before I got the Pass gear they were my main stereo gear. Anyway, they sound great. Cambridge is a very good, and inexpensive, stereo manufacturer.
Good luck with the sale.

Good question, but is it a fair comparison? -
What defines fair?
-
Not sure. Two things that are of the same price & product category I think.
-
Amp costing “X” would be fair IMO
-
How much was the Norma?
-
The Norma Audio Revo IPA-140 integrated amplifier retails for $7,000.

Since your new gear retails at $5500, I would say that’s close enough... anyhoo, which is better?

Black Friday bump - Now asking $800 shipped for the Cambridge 851a which was purchased in May of this year and never registered with Cambridge, so it should still be well under it's 3-year warranty.
This will be my final price reduction. Thanks for your consideration. -
Update: This is off the market for now, as it is on loan to a prospective buyer (fellow Polkie).
