Magnifi Max new box

Recently noticed that the Magnifi Max was now in. new mostly yellow box instead of the red one. Anyone know if this is just a cosmetic change? Rebranding because of all the horrible reviews and issues? Or could it actually be new hardware do to all of the issues they been having?

They've introduced the Magnifi 2, which seems like the same dimensions, so maybe the new boxing was part of that model's launch.
