Signa S2 audio delay problems

I have my soundbar connected via HDMI ARC to a Visio TV. The audio lag is really obvious with massive lip syncing issues even with simple stereo audio streams off cable. With stored media I can fix the lip syncing issue with a +300ms time shift but that seems insanely high. I don’t see many options for a fix. Is this a situation unique to me? Should I try optical?
