Signa S2 HDMI 3 ARC NO GOOD

My Signa S2 won't work on the HDMI arc. When I select it on the new Samsung tv it disappears and defaults to tv speakers. Help!!!

If it were me, I would contact Samsung and determine why the ARC feature disengages.
