Hello. I am having issues with the ARC. Hopefully someone will be able to help me. I have a Signa S2 soundbar and a Samsung TV. The ARC almost never works to power on the soundbar and begin transmitting sound. I have to manually power on the soundbar and go into the Samsung's menu and toggle Anynet+ (Samsung's name for ARC I presume?) OFF then ON again. I am using the Polk supplied HDMI. All that I can come up with is trying a different cord, but thought I would ask before I take the TV and bar down to try. Anything technical I'm missing or unaware of?

    Did you ever figure out what's going on? I have a similar issue. S2 works great with Samsung TV but isn't recognized by the TV after powering off/on. Must unplug power to both to get things working again.
