Interesting indeed.
I seem to recall there's been some churn in and near the C-suite @ B&W recently(?).

Anybody remember the B&W DM70 speakers?

Maybe, just maybe if the deal goes through SU can make a B&W speaker that sounds good.Political Correctness'.........defined

There was a fellow at an audiokarma get-together in MA a few years back with a pair. They actually weren't as unpleasant to my ears as more modern Bowers and Wilkins loudspeakers have been. I think it was the tweeters.

Dinner and a movie, I'd reckon.

There were quite a few companies that attached electrostatic tweeters to moving coil drivers in those days. Infinity had the 2000A (which I owned) and Servo-Static (my two friends owned) and Janszen of course made add-on electrostatic elements for lots of companies. I never heard the B&W, always wanted to, somewhere in my foggy memory I remember some connection between B&W and Sony. Maybe Sony imported the DM70 into Japan?
