SB 1 factory remote stops working after power outage

Had a 30 minute power outage Friday night and when power came back on, none of the remotes I programmed for the SB 1 worked, including the factory "credit card" remote. I changed the battery in the factory remote and it still doesn't work. I have tried reprogramming everything using the manual instructions without success. In particular, I've tried reprogramming the factory remote, but the manual's instructions are useless, i.e. "reprogram using instructions on previous page" but the only programming instructions in the manual require USE of the factory remote. I deleted all the remote codes per the manual, but still can't reprogram anything. Is there some way to do a factory reset of a SB 1?
