I am on my third cup of coffee this morning and just about fell asleep watching this guy. Some ideas I might try, however.

Why would we expect to follow your wishes when on another thread, the question was "What are you listening too" and you ALWAYS post a 500 word screenshot because you are too damned lazy to type what it is you are actually listening to. Buzz off Captain Lazy. Once again, the hypocrisy abounds.

Some great and cheap hacks that I have ran across over the years are these -

Weigh down subs and bookies with a glass jar filled with coins.
    Spike your stand/speakers/speaker stands.
Lift speaker cables up off the floor when you can.
Never have PC's and SC's/IC's in parallel with each other. Keep them as far apart as possible and cross them when called for at a 90 degree angle.

Measure PRECISELY the distance between speakers and your ears.
Open doors or windows if there is too much boom in your listening area.
    Use plants for deflection.
Tilt your speakers up or down to optimize playback/sound stage/imaging.
Rid excessive vibrations by installing 3 point risers/isolators on gear.
Tighten all grounds on circuit your rig is on.

Insure circuit is being fed by same phase.
De-Oxit all electrical connections once a year.
Steam clean your LP's, even when new (on top of cleaning them).
Use a laser to pinpoint the direction your speakers are pointed at (tilt and toe-in).
    Clean your ears.

I mod a forum where members must post a video in our "What Are You Listening To?" thread. :o

For the record, I agree with you. And as far as this being a "useful post", I rather enjoy being able to watch a video instead of reading a wall of text in many, if not most cases.

Keep on keeping on, Marv. B)

I agree, but that was a video that could have been shorter by half, if not more.

The best inexpensive tweak I have found are Mapleshade brass footers to support the gear. In fact, I no longer think of them as tweaks, but as a necessary component.

I liked what one of the guys did on a recent thread listing some music selection suggestions. Posted the video, and then listed the selections.

I started watching the video on this thread this morning, but saw that it was 20 minutes and didn't have the time to sit through it. Not that I didn't want to see what he was suggesting, but I had to click off and figured I'd come back later. I'm becoming millennial. Mommmmm!!! Bring my Pop-Tarts!
    I disabled signatures.

Had you rather he posted a transcript so that you could have read it instead of watching it?
