A new thing I've seen in the last couple of days is an option to watch FOUR ads before watching a popular 20 minute car review video or having them interrupt during the video as normal. It's only for the ones with biggest audiences though. Other than that, the number of ads seems to be the same as before. Consider that twenty minutes of a cable TV channel's show would probably have double or triple the number of commercials that can't be skipped unless the show is on a DVR.

    USE AN AD BLOCKER!!!!!!

I haven't seen a video on YouTube in the last five years. My ad blocker has blocked 7 MILLION ads since I bought this new PC 3 years ago.

I haven't noticed anything -- maybe the videos I watch, maybe AdBlockPlus... I dunno.

What sux about YT now is how they moved the "Comments" section all the way to the bottom of the page.
Scroll down and accidentally hit a link for a different video and you're off to the race.

....you can learn a lot in the "Comments".
    Kind of like here. :)

Oh and I've noticed more and more videos have NO Comments section. Not "Disabled" but NONE.
    Hmmmm.

I don't mind it. Ads are what fund free content. I don't think they've over done it, and every once in awhile I might actually see an ad for something I end up getting.

You Tube is pretty amazing. Can find almost anything there. Never noticed too many commercials but when I do it allows me to skip it after 5 seconds. Hey it's free and if ya don't like the free version they have a pay version too. Wonder if that's much better??
