Signa S2 not connecting to Q70R

I received my new Signa S2 last week and a new Samsung Q70R this week. I connected the ARC cable and can not get sound. It works on optical. I tried turning things off an don in various orders. Samsung Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) is activated. Tried again and again, Thought I had it when it just started to work. I get the HDMI option in the TV settings. That was yesterday. Today, the TV and soundbar do not connect. Only sound bar audio with optical.
Very Frustrating!!! I tried 3 HDMI cables with no solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you manage to resolve this? I have a client that just emailed with the same TV same problem.

This appears to be a long-running Samsung problem and not a problem with the soundbar.
