I didn't realize how flimsy my SVS cables are until now. Have any of yooz put nice power cables on you subs with apreciable results?

I replaced the 18awg power cable on my VTF3 with a 16awg from a computer. I went to best buy and got a Audioquest to test it out for the most part there was no difference between the 3. The 16awg stayed. The computer power cords I use are from engineering workstations so they are not the el cheapo ones. When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

I use a PS Audio power cord on all my subs. I couldn't tell you if they make a difference as I've never used the stock cords.Political Correctness'.........defined

I am running PS Audio AC-5 cables on my PC4000s. I ran them from day 1 so did they upgrade the experience? Who knows.
I knew I would eventually do it so I ordered the cables at the same time.
One upgraded I can comment on Is going to AQ XLR connections from my 7705 to the subs. It did make a huge difference.
I heard it immediately and once I recalibrated the system it was even better. I had to turn down the subs 6db to get them balanced with speakers.
I am guessing going from 1.2 volts on the RCA connections to 2.4 volts withe the XLR cables had something to do with it.
In the end it sounds less stressed in high bass scenes.Main room- RTiA9 x4, CSiA6, in ceiling Atmos RT-70 x4, SVS PC 4000 x2, Marantz 8805A, OPPO 203, Emotiva DR3 G3, Emotiva XPA-2 G3, Emotiva XPA-5 G3, Emotiva X300, Sony 75" 940E, Panasonic Plasma VT50, PS Audio Power Port X2, PS Audio AC-5 x8, AQ Rocket 33 Biwire speaker cables, AQ King Cobra XLR IC, Furman PFi20 W/Cullen cable, SoildSteel S4-4 rack, Gik room treatments

FWIW I have passive subs, so I have pro amp driving them.

I use a couple of Signal Cables Power Cords on my Subs, like Jesse I never took the stockers out of the bag, so no real comparison.

I purchased a DAC a few months ago, and it didn't include a Factory Power Cord. The Mfg. knows that most, if not all of their customers will use an aftermarket cable.
I purchased some wire and connectors to make up a Power Cable. My first attempt at a DIY Cable

I've either made one or bought a better PC, I never use factory PC.
