The sounds of slab
Anyone put slabs under their front speakers to enhance the bass? Is this a tweak worth pursuing?

I've always found bass to be tremendously enhanced when the speaker was directly laid on a non-cement flooring, like carpet over wood or hard wood floors. Bookshelf speakers on wooden bookshelves or cabinets that are sitting on the floor really seems to enhance the bass resonance across a whole room. The Rti's however, still produce a great bass resonance in my room, despite being lifted from the floor on the plastic feet. In my case, it's not really worth fitting wood slabs underneath, as I'm perfectly happy with my bass output as is.Current System:
