Do you love your rig MORE Post CV19? Did we audio "cultists" have an unfair isolation advantage?

I have to tell you. I love my rig all over again. It litterally makes this time passable. Id have to say I definitely crutch on it to get me by and I had not noticed as I was doing it. Until I failed a driver and being down was a breaking point. Where all other projects had to come to a halt as I went thru boxes for a limp by driver and try to allocate a true polky in the meantime asap. Thats when it struck me you know I depended on my rig these past couple of weeks.
And I want to dive back into its further tweeks and enhancements. For me it's value has gone up now some more. I am truly grateful that in what seems to be a world totally at a loss of quality in every corner. I can turn ON my setup and HEAR the counter arguement to that fact.

I definitely love it more. And plan to re-ignite a possibly way over due Amp rebuild project asap. Possibly add a dedicated streamer. And of course get my repair underway.
Your past time hobby just may have saved your life. Time, effort, and electricity well spent!! :)
Cool stuff: Adcom GFA-555, GFP-710, Oppo BDP-83, Monitor 10's w/RDO198s, rebuilt and modded XO: Sonicap/Mundorf topside, Daytons Low.

Yes, I've listened to my rig more in the past few weeks than the past decade, really.

I've gotten WAY more motivated to get back into the hobby.....there was a time that I was probably the most active member on the forum (or at least top 5) and ate, slept and breathed audio but life got in the way.

    It's nice to be back....

My rigs are in boxes and I have had to work every day outside of that hardly no one is on the streets and I still want to stay home.

I like mine the same. I also have used my rigs more now then probably ever.
I currently have the polk L200's hooked up to a 2 channel rig I built. Unfortunately I have to ship them to the next person in line soon and I'm not really looking forward to letting them go. They are growing on me.

I think I rarely go a day without listening to something on something.
But yeah, I'd go nuts without music of some sort.

I truly enjoy my little various systems for what each offers, from the main, to little computer systems, to decent earbuds and my phone. It's important to keep in mind the general purpose - listening - but I also enjoy using them, working the controls as part of the enjoyment. Even just looking at the components in appreciation.

Nope, mine is in the garage and I don't have room to listen anymore. I have been enjoying some good headphone sessions though.

I turned mine on this morning to warm up for music and beer tonight. Being retired this virus lifestyle isn't really any different than before the virus.
