Had a missed call from Jeff, called him back and he informed me that he has tested positive for Covid 19.

He sounded awful, out of breath, 103 fever and about to be transferred to a different hospital as his oxygen level is low and his blood sugar is all messed up (diabetic).

Late 40's, goes to work every day, no tobacco, alcohol or drugs, just the damn diabetes he's been fighting since he was a little kid.

He loves our dog Hazel, spoils the crap out of her.
Loves his Polk 11's and music, great all around guy.

Calls his "Mama" as he calls her 3 times a week like clock work and see's her every weekend he's not working.

This just sucks, Jeff is one of those guys who would do anything for anyone, in fact I've busted his chops more than once for being a bit too generous to certain people.

Just now got another message from his Mom and now he's on his way to another hospital in Indy.

Anyway, if you could, say a prayer for Cousin Jeffey, in fact prayers for ALL those affected by this &%#@ing virus!!!

    He's not on a vent. Early this morning his temp spiked to 105, is down to 101 now and he has had a few bites of breakfast but really sick. Blood sugar is still way too high, there doing all they can, he's just gotta fight it best he can.

    FYI, I told my Aunt that I'd be having words with him when he gets better, she laughed and said "yes I'd like you to do that."

    Every time my mom is hospitalized for her COPD(pneumonia) the steroids they give her for that also causes her diabetes to go all wonky. spikes her blood sugar as well like your cousin.
