Is that no one will tell me what they are for. The only thing I can think of that has that kind of plug is my TV. Would yooz use this on your TVs, if so ehat fer?

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
They'd work great on a 1980s Panasonic mini boom-box. I have one downstairs if you're lookin' for something to use the cord for.
By the looks of things, it's one of these -- they were once common on small consumer electronics and show up on (e.g.) the AC side of laptop computer power bricks still.

Not that you asked, but there is a polarized morph of that two-wire AC mains cord as well. Big top secret hint: The 'figure 8' female connector above will work in the polarized socket (heh-heh-heh, oriented either way).
