I can't get my refrigerator, washer, and dryer delivered and installed in my new house because I waited. I can't even get my last pair of employer sponsored glasses because glasses are not essential. I am glad that I waited to move my armagedon kit out there though. I can still fight my way to the river.

We've had multiple deliveries of food items, furniture, and sundry items (like a Le Creuset kettle, so not really what could be described as an "essential" item). Delivery guys have been very professional, wearing masks, distancing etc. One of them did not even require a physical signature for a large item: he just took a photo of the delivery in the driveway.
The UPS dude says that it's been like Christmas every day, but without the extra helper he gets at Christmas.
Seems like a lot of businesses will do rather well out of this new COVID-induced economy.Alea jacta est! -
Our Stove broke the oven stopped heating. The top burners still worked so it wasn't a gas issue.
Home Depot delivered a new Stove wore masks and gloved, installed and out the door no signature in 30 minutes.
I pulled out the old one, cleaned underneath and behind for them. Laid down drop clothes from my front door to the Kitchen so they had a clear easy pathway to come in and get out.
Overall was a good experience.Dan
