It's ok, I'm not a fan of hers. I never thought she was a good singer. I saw her live in Florida at Fountain Blue Hotel where we stayed one summer and she performed well and she also sang with her younger sister who was also good.

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -

Song not for her. Seemed like she was trying to hard plus the slight added vibrato ...pass

I kinda like Miley Cyrus, but that was painful. Seemed flat and lazy, unfortunately.
Sia is another one who comes to mind for song butchering. She's hacked a couple of my favorites, like The Church's Under The Milky Way. She always sounds like she's whining or someone's pinching her nose.I disabled signatures. -
Scott, I almost flagged you for that post.

The word "fishbowl" (02:36) sounded horrific. She is the embodiment of Klipsch speakers in a "singing" voice. How I wish she wasn't here.

If you are going to reboot a classic...
Pick the right song
Own it
Enjoy it...like Pink does here, listen all the way to the end IMHO, she kills it

Talent usually has pink. Just sayin'.
That sounded like a Janis Joplin quote. -
Zooloo does an unbelievable cover of Janis’s material. Stream the whole LP. It’s really good

so -- as to the OP.
Miley was OK; the guitarist was good.
Coulda done without the na, nas.
I think the problem is that the original version by The Pink Floyd was perfect. Kind of hard to improve upon perfection.

... oh, and Pink doin' Janis doin' Kris: too much of am imitation (of Janis -- not Kristofferson), from my perspective.
