I just installed the 6 198's into my SDA SRS 2.3tl speakers last night. All I can say is WOW! Big difference. Well worth the cost. I assume they will only get better once broken in. A crossover upgrade will hopefully help too, but they sound superb already. I hope to upgrade the crossovers sometime this year. I will install the full set of Larry's rings this week if I get time.
If you are on the fence, dont worry, they are a true UPGRADE!
I may get 4 for my SDA-CRS speakers that are in my shop. Going to finsh my 2.3's first though.
Thanks for the suggestion to upgrade to these tweeters.

Also, what can be used to clean the speaker cones and surrounds? Mine are dirty, very dirty. Thanks.

Original windex and a lint free cloth.
Spray the cloth not the drivers. Keeping the cloth wet enough not to stick to the driver coating. -
You'll need RD-0194s for the CRSs, not RD-0198s. Try ordering two 1st, and disconnect the dimensional tweeters. You may like the sound better.Home Theater/2 Channel:
