I don’t recall ever seeing such a wide disparity between WTI and Brent prices.

Normally, Brent (the world standard) is always a little more expensive than WTI, but today, Brent is “only” down 5%, at $26.50! 😳

Trouble with modern gas is you can't store it for very long before going bad.
So everywhere they are storing the raw crude. And tanks are pretty much full.
Given how little I'm driving, I might have to pour some stay-bil in the car

It is still over 3 dollars here where I am at, ant when oil starts going back up, they will still raise gas prices. When the rest of the country gets back to 3 dollars, ours will be 7 bucks...

$5.20 a barrel now. I did see a print of $4.69 a few minutes ago.

    WOW.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

So both the Saudis and Russians are losing money for every barrel pumped? I saw somewhere the break even points for each country but cant recall what they were.

That's it you don't know the chemistry.

It’s already well under $3 for regular grade at reputable stations (Shell, 76 etc.), and as low $2.39 at Arco, but since you’re rich, you only use Premium grade in the new Benz and the Jag 😜 ... but even that is well under $3 today (although not in my neighborhood).

With these crude prices, it should continue to drop, though.

Yup! It actually turned negative, down to -$40 at one point.

They are paying people to take oil away so that they don’t have to shut down wells that would be more costly to reopen.

This is only for the May contracts that expire tomorrow. The June contracts are still about $20 (positive 😂).

From what I understand they are very close to that, and maybe another reason Price's are dropping like a rock.

Costco, Berkeley & Jensen, Mobil, Shell all sitting at $1.59 for regular. It’s gotten to the point that at Shell E85 is the same as regular, never thought that would happen.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
