Hello All,
What is the trick in removing the face plate on the Monitor Series 2 bookshelf? I remove the two screws, but it won't budge.
Thanks,
Rick

Uhhh, whaaa? Post a picture of your speaker, there are MANY series 2 models.

Sorry about that. I bought them in about 1988.

Looks like 4 screw holes for the top area, 2 for the bottom. I believe you have to pry the plastic fronts off after removing the screws. The speakers aren't worth the effort.Political Correctness'.........defined

Yeah, I know they aren't worth that much, but thought they would be good practice. Tried prying off the fronts, but not sure how without carving up the plastic trim.

Ok, now I understand: those are M3s. The label that reads monitor series 2 indicates the second generation of the Monitor series with there being many models within each generation, and in some cases, mid generation updates.
