Noise when turning on TV

My Polk soundbar, in the last 2 months, will make a loud noise when the TV turns on if the TV was turned off when the input was on Netflix or someone was casting to the TV. If left on HDMI there is no problem with loud noise when the TV is turned on. Aside from tying to have 4 people remember to flip it to HDMI before turning it off, Is there a real fix?
