Thought about it, but I am trying to spend a ludicrous amount of money. Seen any independent reviews on em? -

Those look familiar. -
I’m happy with my Legacy Focus S/E’s. They will fill a large room with ease. And have both a passive and active lower end available.
They have high sensitivity so I have heard many setups with 30 wpc of tube power. I prefer them with a high current SS amp as they can also take the power.
I auditioned the Harbeths. Thinking they would be my next purchase but quickly moved on.2 Channel Rosso Fiorentino Volterra II, 2 REL Carbon Limited, Norma Revo IPA-140B, Lumin U2 Mini, VPI Prime w/SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC, Modwright PH 150, Denon DP-59l w/Denon DL-301MKII, WAY Silver 3 Ana+ Speaker Cables, WAY Silver 4+ Interconnect Cables, AudioQuest Niagara 7000 w/Dragon and Hurricane Power Cables -

Less than a kilobuck the pair, apparently.
Just the thing to be blastin' your Molly Hatchet or Black Sabbath, I would think.
Or Cash... yeah, that'll work, too...
(I can almost feel the blood tricklin' down my earlobes from the environment in that photo above)

"SM" series Infinitys?
ewwww...The chair is in the sweet spot.
Exactly so... also, there's a hipster Klipsch(ster) ad with modern looking young people, two out of three of whom have wisely positioned themselves as far from the line of fire as possible.

Open to interpretation. Kinda like the "Sopranos" ending. -

They might qualify as varmints. -

I don’t know anything about (apparently) “new” Magnats, but Magnut made some extremely good speakers in the past. Some of the Dahlquist monitors were essentially Magnats, I have a pair of DQ-9C’s with a full complement of Magnat drivers and they are truly special monitors. Not many know about Magnat, it seems. German speakers. Now, with That said, I haven’t kept up with their “new” speakers. -
It is absolutely true that Magnat made some pretty serious loudspeakers; based on their website, they still do... but they apparently decided to go a bit downmarket with this model.
-
Too bad (imho) that they’ve apparently chosen that path with that model. Always seemed like false reasoning that undermines long term foundations.
-
I had a pair of Magnat gammas stay here briefly a couple years ago. They were di-poles with 4 speakers on each side. They seemed to be well made speakers and not all that common but they weren't my cup of tea.
