Power for SDA2 A

Ok guys, you've given me ALOT of useful info on what speakers i have to how to upgrade them and so on. Now my question regards...what is going to power these things without blowing up everything including the wallet. Ive got a 7.1 receiver for surround system but plan to listen to the SDA S as pure stereo. I listen loud. Not any one genre of music but a hodgepodge. Any recommendations for an amp that can handle spl on a budget?

Budget?

I would be pressed to go more than 1200... I dont want to go the straight pro audio route but they make it quite easy so it seems.
-
If i have learned anything its that i will need a ton of current. I cant find any solid numbers as far as wattage but down around the 3 ohm figure?
-
I was unable to find a B&K 200 near me and the reviews of the parasound say they dont do well with low ohm pulls.

Hey where about in Wisconsin? I’m in Wisconsin Dells.
That parasound has high current and did wonders for my 2a’s never broke a sweat. But for $1,200 you can do much better for sure.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A -

That Parasound HCA 1500 amp, which is discontinued, has 60 amps peak current capacity per channel and is rated for 4 Ohms and Polk calls your speaker a 5 Ohm speaker. Remember, the speakers you have only dip briefly down to 3.5 Ohm impedance for a very small range (and I believe it is mostly resistive load) in the bass region according to that review with measurements I posted in the other thread.
