He will be missed. Even though he and I have never met face to face, he worked with me several hours trying to get a Joule preamp dialed into my system. He took his time and gave me a lot of pointers. I look forward to meeting him one day.

There's always kharp2, but he's kind of like the third clone in Multiplicity.

Yeah, I'm really bad with names. DSkip always had good advice. If I recall correctly, he went through some tough personal issues a while back. Hope all is well with him, he was good ole boy.

Not really, I thought that this thread was about the guy with the Gomer Pyle avatar. I was told it was Barney Fife.

To your credit, Gomer Pyle was originally a character on "The Andy Griffith Show", which also featured Barney Fife. :p

    I’ll stick around and watch.

I somewhat feel responsible for his outburst that night. I do feel remorseful and wish I would have handled it differently.

He jumped on a guy for mentioning DSkip. I felt (after a few drinks) that silt was unwarranted and not needed as the thread was going very well until then. I voiced my opinion on it and it went south really really fast. To the point that I finally PMed Kerry and told him to "Eat a dick". He responded in a way (not just to me but also shiabh that got him banned.

While in do feel bad he is ultimately responsible for his actions as am I or anyone else.

So I do apologize to everyone else here.

Gentlemen, please remember that this started with a bad decision, and even more bad reactions. Pointing fingers yields nothing at this point. The forum as a whole has suffered from some great losses.

Let's just learn from it and move on.

To the point that I finally PMed Kerry and told him to "Eat a dick". He responded in a way (not just to me but also shiabh that got him banned.

He wasn't banned, he asked for his account to be closed, which now shows him as banned.

That said, your PM would definitely have been cause for your banning if Kerry reported it.
