Someone local is selling this Carver cd player for $200.00 with no remote. Is it worth it? I am currently using a Sony s7700 for my CD's. Will I notice the difference? Thanks, Jeff

Unless it's the tube one, and I don't think it is, save your cash. I have a Carver TL-3300, WITH original box, manual, remote, and packing. $200 is excessive for no remote . It's excessive if it's not the tube one.

    I wouldn't give more than $75 - $100 for one.

Isn't the 't' the tube designation?

Offer him a buck and a quarter. Great sounding cdp, you tell me if it's worth it to you.

I think I've seen em' bring 2-3 bills on the bay.

    Cheers,

I would do the same thing. $125. Screw the remote.

I was thinking that 19 should have been in the model number for the tube cd player, but I think maybe C-19 was the tube preamp from around 1991 or 92.
