LSAF many moons ago...The Black Hole

This is a test.

This is a test of the LSAF gathering about 3 or 4 years ago. IIRC, it was 3 years ago.

In the Black Hole room with the Triangle speakers, there was a pre in that room. Does anyone recall what brand that was? It was obscure and I had never heard one prior to that but I'd like to know what it was.

BTW, those guys are freakin' HOOT if you have not met them before.

Spent most of my time of any room in that room and I only remember any info about the speakers themselves.

Thanks for the responses, gentlemen. I was not able to find any photos of it. Is Blair Chapman still in business? I joined his FB page - North Texas Audio Trader to see if I could find out any more information.

The Black Hole A/V site gives an error 404 and I could not find anything else online about them. Anyone have their number or contact information?

Tom, do a search on our site here and there's a preamp that Maxchau sold to audiolvr recently, and the last thread from 2011 discusses a buffer and something about him selling on another site. Don

I am talking to Blair now and I did read that thread. Thanks Don.

He stated that it was a 8 or 6CG7. It was/is Anthony’s preamp.
