Command Bar interfering with WiFi

Recently bought a Command Bar. Had no problem connecting to my router using the 5Ghz band (dual band ASUS router, 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands have different names). The Command Bar itself works flawlessly and sounds great.
My problem is that when the Command Bar is powered on, WiFi reception in the room becomes severely compromised.
Example:
1) Go in room, unplug Command Bar
2) Turn off cellular on phone, so I am only using WiFi
3) Run SpeedTest app - greater than 300MB every time.
4) Plug in Command Bar, let it boot up.
5) Ask Alexa a sample question to confirm everything is working.
6) Run SpeedTest app - lucky to get more than 1MB, usually in the 0.2MB range
