Magnifi Max Sub won't pair with sound bar....

So, all of a sudden.....the sub isn't and won't pair with the soundbar.
Am I missing something?

Just sub? No surrounds?
Press and hold the sync button on the back of the sound bar until it dings
Then press and hold the sync button on the back of the sub until the light on the back of the sub starts blinking faster
When it pairs, it makes another ding noise.
If you have no surround speakers then press the sync button on the back of the bar to finish. Light should be solid green now on the sub -
Thanks, however, It's not that I don't know how to pair it....but it won't pair.
