I've been having this problem for a while now with my sound bar where the mid ranges are significantly muted compared to other audio ranges. This is particularly noticeable in things like movies or TV shows where there is background music or "action", or in sports games where anything except the announcers can be heard. Voices, Bass, and direct high ranges come through fine. Tried all the movie, music and sports settings on the remote.
It didn't start this way. My system firmware version is 115 according to Google home. My TV is a Sony XBR-65X850F. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how was if it fixed, if it was? Thanks!

I had this issue too but only with my cable box. I changed my cable box to PCM audio output and haven’t had the issue.

Thank you Joseph. That was it. Now I'm curious if one of the newer builds broke the digital connection or not.
