One opened up the other day, I kept hearing from a lot of people you gotta go check it out best ever blah blah blah. I 'm one to enjoy a few chicken tenders now and then, so me and the missus got gussied up and headed to check it out. We drove around the place a few times trying to find a place to park, couldn't find one so parked down the road away and fought the crowd and ordered, she got the sandwich, I got the 3pc meal .

I honestly have had better I mean they were definitely moist and tender you get a lot for your buck but honestly the sauce and the sweet tea was all that impressed me. Oh yeah and some big Elvis Presley picture hanging on the wall by our table, kind of wanted to take it home for the man cave. Well there you have it not as good as all the hype it was getting round these here parts. Maybe I was just expecting more for all the hype now if they would bottle up the dipping sauce I would by that from time to time along with the Sweet Tea.

    First time I went to Raising Canes about three years ago I went through the drive-thru. I too said "meh" no big deal. I went back about six months ago and ate inside, for some reason it was much better than my first visit. I've probably been to three different locations here four-five times in the past six months with good food each time. Can't stand KFC or Popeyes anymore. Totally tired of fast burgers, tacos and sub sandwiches too. Better low-cost quick choices are Panera Bread or Jason's Deli salad bar. Or just eat when I get back home, better yet.

    Okay. Except for an occasional pizza I haven’t had any fast, junk, trash food since April. Then again, I’m not sure if pizza fits into those categories. :)
