So, what is this little guy?

Took a pic this afternoon of this little guy next to our outdoor fountain and am wondering what it is...scoped out the various sites pertaining to reptiles in Washington State but nothing looked the same...thoughts?

Looks like a sub-type of alligator lizard. We have them all over the place here in SoCal.

Yep it’s a skink. We get tons of em here in central TX.

They’re harmless. We would catch em and my kids would take them to pre school for show and tell. Some of the teachers didn’t like us...we have also caught tarantulas, snakes, frogs, mice, and other critters, but don’t send most of those to school lol...

We used to see a lot of them in Seattle. We had a 1.25 acre lot and everytime I mowed the grass they were out.

3 yrs ago I spent 8 days out and about in the Colorado springs area going up and down. Sitting on the rocks watching wildlife all kinds of lizards was running about in the sunshine if you sat still enough.
