RT16 driver woes

Preface: I DO have an open inquiry with Polk CS that they are elevating to Tier 2, so thank you, very pleasant to talk to. :)

What i'm wondering, in case i've gone down some path that's going to be obnoxious in the future, is if any other Polk-branded driver is compatible with these things?

Original driver is MW8103. Near as i can tell, the MW8100 is the same driver just sans magnetic shielding, which isn't anything i care about with modern TVs, used in the LS90. I just bought a driver on Ebay that was advertised as being a replacement for an RT16 in the listing title, it arrived as an MW8002, but even more strange, it has an "RT16" sticker on the magnet that has clearly been there for a long time.

I find no documentation to support the MW8002 as ever used in the RT16, but it was used in the RT7.

1) Can i drop an MW8100 in an RT16?
2) Can i drop an MW8002 in an RT16? (I suspect not, the ohms do not appear to be the same)

Thanks in advance for any help!
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.
