LOL. Nice, but one problem. My iPad doesn’t offer that option.

Could it be because you're using Chrome? If so, try the three dots on the right of the URL bar. Otherwise, use Safari. It will be an option in Safari as described above, although it may be "hidden" in the "More Options" menu.Alea jacta est!

Try the three dots on the top right.

Three dots does not have it. I will try Safari. The good news is this shows that Vanilla should be able to fix it. Assuming they get off their lazy, incompetent a s s.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

It sort of worked on Safari. I could login, and saw the forum. When I went to Recent Discussions I just get the problem screen posted earlier.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

It should work. The iPad mini 1st Gen uses a similar A5 processor (yours is A5X), with less RAM.
I would try again, but first, close Safari completely (swipe away). If it doesn’t work the second time, you could try refreshing the display (top right in URL bar).
If that still doesn’t work, you could also try clearing the cache (clear history and website data option from Settings). This will have no effect on Keychain, so If you are using it, this will only be a minor inconvenience: you’ll still be able to reload your logins and passwords easily from the Keychain prompt in a single tap (or two, dependent on how the website is set up).Alea jacta est! -
P.S. This might be important!
I tried this again on the iPad mini. I hadn’t signed in last time since that iPad mini is no longer in use. When I tried signing in, there was a glitch with the signing in process that seemed to create the effect you described (loss of forum display). If you try the send to button again to Request Desktop Site, it should work.Alea jacta est! -
It is fixed. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Well, this is strange. It actually worked for a bit, but after some time it reverted back to broken state. Oh well. It is Vanilla.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

I just tried my original iPad, and it works now. Great. Now I don't have to take my iPad Mini room to room.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

Great news, Bud! It’s surprising how well those old iPads still work. 😉
You are missing out, though, especially on the clarity of a Retina display, and the ease of use of the text sizing tools in iPadOS, which would solve your issues reading Mr. Hardy’s italicized fonts! 😜
You should probably make plans for an upgrade worthy of a man with your standing in society!Alea jacta est! -
This does have a Retina display. That's why I bought it. My iPad Mini is at the latest hardware (or very close to it).Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
