Upgrading home office 2-channel from RTi4 to LSi7?

I'm building a new home with a new home office and thinking I will take the opportunity to upgrade from the current RTi4's I have. I am replacing my RTi system in the home theater with LSiM. I was considering the LSiM 703 for my home office but I don't need/want something quite that big. Would LSi7's be a nice compromise and upgrade from the RTi4's? I don't/won't have a sub on that system, and will be powered by an Emotiva UPA-7 (lots of power at 4 ohms).

I’m a big fan of the LSi7 when they’re properly powered. I’d say go for it.

Agreed. I own the LSi7s, and they sound great. Your Emotiva should be enough for you to enjoy them.

I've never listened to the RTi series, so can't make that comparison.

Go for the 7's. They got it right with those speakers.

The 7’s are the underdog sweetheart of the LSi line. I think I they make perfect office speakers. Small and sweet sounding, perfect for a small room or not party volume listening.
