rear centre
Do most peeps use a dedicated centre for the rear centre or a "left over" book shelf ?? and how do I set this up if the couch is against the wall ???

IMHO you move the couch or you use bi/dipoles back there and the latter might be preferable even if you don't move the couch.

I use a CSi30 but a leftover bookshelf will work also. My couch is also up against a wall so I made a shelf and put the speaker up about 6.5' off the ground, it works fine.
Others in this situation have tried putting the rear center behind the couch firing up.Graham -

For the amount of input a back center channel actually gets (not too much), it would be wise just to use a left over bookshelf, rather than spending the money on a dedicated center. That back center is just an added f/x speaker, with not nearly the amount of sound output to justify spending more money on a center speaker. Even with DTS ES 6.1. In my opinion, of course.Current System:
