    I wonder if you could just make one yourself. Remove the top crossover and tweeter from an original RTA-12 and rebuild the internal crossover to LF14 specs/schematic.

    If you're thinking RAAL, keep Ascend Acoustics in mind. I haven't heard the new Sierra-2EX, but have owned other Ascend speakers in the past(still have a couple pair of 170's serving surround duty actually). All have hit well above their respective price points.

    The Raal tweeter is sublime....
    It’s what “makes” the speaker .

    Drool. If I put my mind to it it's something within reason, still very expensive for me. I saved and spent $3k on doing my cars entire suspension setup. I'd want to hear them first but I don't even know how I would unless I took a field trip to someone's house.

    Sometimes the top of the laptop cuts the bottom view and they look like bookies....;)

    Salk has also taken over making the Philharmonic BMR speakers since Dennis Murphy is declining in health.

    They're bigger, deeper bass, but have overall lower quality drivers than the Salk Silks. About $1,000 cheaper though. Question is how do they compare.
