My Hts 12 is humming . Sometimes I can use it for an hour sometimes it starts right away. I noticed that when I giggle the wire I'm using to connect it to my reciever it stopped. Do I just need a better quality wire ? Pushing the wire in also makes it stop. It's like it's not a good connection.

First of all don't giggle it's not funny.
Second of all don't jiggle the cable if it's causing the problem.
Third....Yes replace the cable

Is it interference from the other power cords that's causing it ? Its humming when I'm not touching the wire. It stopped when I "jiggled" it.
