Kaypro's the other luggable I remember from the early-ish days (FWIW).
IBM, if memory serves, had a luggable -- maybe a PS/1?

The cool professors in our department invested in early luggables as they became available. We were still runnin' S-100 bus "PCs" and Heathkit H-89s in my lab (and some even odder things, thanks to some sort of agreement JHU had with DEC in those long-ago times)**.
