Sound bar goes really quiet on certain shows and commercials

I have Omni SB1 soundbar and sub. Only certain shows & commercials cause this problem (examples are AGT and the Citi entertainment commercials.) The volume gets really low and muffled, except the talking part. The music background is what gets muffled. Just now, an EXTRA gum ad came on, same thing happened! Very frustrating! Any ideas? I’ve tried unplugging and it is up to date on firmware.

    Similar problem here! Only for me it's the voice that gets muffled, while the music stays loud. Happens both via Toslink and Bluetooth via a variety of sources.

    My Samsung soundbar does the same thing on an NBC channel on the cable.
