SDA-CRS as center channel for 1A’s?! Or klipsch RC-64

Sorry but I know this has to have been asked somewhere but I cannot seem to find exactly what I’m looking for. I have a Pair of SDA-CRS that I think would possibly work for tweeter matching. I’m either looking at doing this or looking into buying either the SVS prime center, SVS ultra center, or Klipsch RC-64. Whats the consensus on center channels for SDAs?

SDA CRS would match better

A single CRS+, with a Monitor 10 crossover makes an exceptional center.Home Theater/2 Channel:

What does the monitor 10 crossover change that the crs crossover doesn’t have?

Could you not unplug the dimensional woofer on the CRS

The Monitor 10 crossover is designed for a single tweeter, dual woofer configuration.
The CRS crossover is not.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Will sure but why? The crs+ should have bass down below 150hz. i believe unlike the earliest model that didn't play at all unless the cable was used. I'd give it a try and see how you like it first. Dave knows his stuff that i trust. -
These CRS were made in 84 they aren’t the + correct

Blade blade interconnect and two tweeters then no.

Yes blade/blade and two tweeters. So do I look for a different center or try it

Disable one of the tweeters, and install the Monitor 10 crossover, done. Use the tweeter that's mostly in the center.

Would using both as a center cause an issue? -
Yes, you will get lobing, and a comb filtering. Ideally, one full range driver per channel will deliver the cleanest sound, so the closer the drivers are to each other, the closer it will act as a single driver.

Both tweeters or both speakers? -

You wont like it that way. The one woofer will bottom out pretty easy since it's now having to try and drive the PR and a second woofer.
I wired my CRS, SDA woofer with the other woofer so it was more like a 2 way 3 driver speaker. I dont remember (parallel or series) but I think it came out in the 5 to 6 ohm range. Made for a pretty capable center with plenty of bass. Dont forget to allow some room for the PR to breathe on the back.
