Finally had time to watch the trailer. I can't wait! I've had a 30+ year career with Ford and am proud of my company in many ways. Henry Ford was a SOB, but, he also was a genius. They pay me well, but, the flip side of that is they expect you to basically surrender your life to them.

I'm not very happy with where they're at today, but, there has been some greatness through the years, probably none more than those depicted in this film.

Years ago, while in Dusseldorf, Germany, my wife and I were walking along some store fronts and we looked into one of the windows and to our surprise sat a GT40 Mk II in Gulf colors. Probably one of the ones that raced at LeMans in the late 60's. A couple years ago we saw the prototype for that car in the Indy museum.

I just watched that documentary on Prime, and it was great! Looking forward to this movie's release this Fall AND... 'The Art of Racing in the Rain' based on the 2008 book by Garth Stein (local Pacific Northwet author) which will be released this August, should be another good movie.

I was born in Detroit in 1966' the year this took place. I'll be there when it premiers!

Maybe I'll go check it out back home with my bud Derek that just put his 1986 Shelby GLHS up for sale. He has a #3 (out of 500) which was the first GLHS made available to the public and was maintained by the original Shelby mechanics and has the prototype Shelby wheels.

Wow, nice SVT and it was published too. Maybe you a know a friend on mine name Anthony Davis, who's an SVT nut, and former Ford Engineer. His car/s have won sound quality competitions and has been featured in magazines. He's had about four to six amazing audio systems /iterations over the years.

Also, he has an OPPO player mounted in the dash as the source! I think it's a BDP-95 as I know he had that one in his home system. It would not surprise me if he pulled it off the rack to install in the car!

I moved to Indiana and he moved South so I've yet to listed to this system. His past systems had tonality better than any 2 ch home system than I've ever had. This system is supposed to take it a step further in every way. He was using very high end car audio drivers (Hybrid Audio Technologies). Those guys have a team and have won many shows over the years. Anthony, went against the grain looking for improvements and switched those out with some very high end home audio drivers, AudioTechnology I think. As the story goes, the home drivers sounded better before the system even got tuned. Apparently some feathers were ruffled but he won some shows with this car after being out of it for years. Its supposed to be a mobile audiophile force to be reckoned with.
