    CH46E,

I sent you a couple of PMs.

    Thank you again! B)

I've tried for many years to let people hear how GREAT Polk speakers sound. I've converted quite a few here over the years! :D

    Thank you so much! ;)

I've cleaned up the area around my 12b's some today. I want to hear these gems (with all working woofers thanks to your generosity) in a more open and better space.

My better space is what it is...but I can still hear what I hear. :)

I think you will find my packing much much better that that Ebay idiot.

I really hope you enjoy them. I love mine. And yes it broke my heart a little to let this spare driver go.... I could not help but think what I'll do if I lose one of mine. Like the peerless tweeters they come up for sale every so often. Anyways here some pics.

    I purchased this 6501 and a 6502 from Graig aka @VCWatkins.

I just happen to be going to our local Fed Ex Hub tomorrow to inspect some international packages so I'll be able to send it then.

I just hope the duct tape does not rip off the Id sticker.

There is zero movement in the box.

Oh and there is dynomat on the drivers basket.

That looks like overkill on the packing. Very NICE indeed! Great pictures. Thank you!

If you need a MW6501 or MW6600, this one will be mailed back to you for sure. ;)

I listened to the 12b's again a lot more tonight while I cleared a wall of speakers away from where it has been for a year or more. I think a sub-woofer is going to be needed for some music though. A Madonna song sounded awesome on these tonight. I also have a "Jazz like you've never heard" CD. I gave my first one to my old friend Mr. Paul years ago but found another one somewhere. I felt I didn't need a sub on that Cd. It's strange. I think there is something amiss about the bass output though. I'll check for screw tightness ( on every screw) tomorrow.

It's a Tetris game out there for sure. More coming in than going out for about 5 years. But it's ok, I've NEVER had to step on any speakers or electronics ever. ;)

I received the package CH46E so generously offered to me to complete my mission to bring these Polk RTA 12b's back to functionality with original drivers replacing the frozen and non-working ones.

I unpacked the woofer and the cone moved freely and I tested it shortly after and it still puts out sound. And it looks like new too! ;)

I'm going to show you how Chris packed this woofer now. I think it could've survived the Samsonite (?) or American Touriser (?) luggage commercial ads! ;)

    Here's how to pack a woofer! <3

Now the fine woofer with zero damage. And it's already dynamated to boot! :)

You're an outstanding man for sure! This is the BEST audio site on the web!

Thank all you guys who have karma'd me NICE things over the years and recently too.

May Karma be kinder to you more than you've been to me! o:)

    Thanks again Chris! ;)
