He and Harvey Korman were superb together. Always trying to mess each other up since the Carol Burnett show was broadcast live. Some of the bits and sketches they did were some of the most hilarious stuff on TV. Just working from the cuff completely off script.....to have that kind of improvisation was pretty entertaining.
I don't want to sound nostalgic, but they just don't do shows like that anymore. I'm glad I lived in a time where my parents watched every Carol Burnett show. I always liked when Tim came on the scenes. I agree, Him and Harvey were hilarious together!
RIP Mr. Conway.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

RIP, Tim Conway. Loved watching the old Carol Burnett show on Saturday nights with my parents while growing up; and, of course, like a lot of people, my favorite parts of the show were the Tim Conway/Harvey Korman sketches. Like Verb said, they just don't make shows like this anymore. Carol Burnett Show, Mary Tyler Moore show, Bob Newhart show (original show)...all legends.

Sad to read this, Tim Conway almost always stole every scene he was in on Carol Burnett. And the way he could just make Harvey crack up endlessly was hysterical.
