These beauties just landed today! Minty (look brand new) MIT Shotgun S1 bi-wires!

8 footers, plus a set of 8 extra spade connectors. Destined for the big rig in the basement.

Currently running MIT T2's down there! Woo hoo! :smile:

    I moved from S3 series (speaker and IC's) to S1 bi-wire about 2 years ago. Found S3 to S1 provided "mo better" of the Shotgun sound I like. Also, recently upgraded to S1 balanced IC's through the entire chain.

    Upgraded equipment along the way and the "synergy" from my original Parasound/Oppo centric to the newly completed PS Audio BHK Pre/250 amp/Directstream DAC carried forward on my 1.2tl's.

    Looking forward to your impressions.

    I started with T2's and then went to Shotgun S3's. A very satisfying improvement in everything.

    Im getting a hiss from my Shotgun S1 ICs from the tubed pre amp to my amp....my theory is perhaps the network boxes are too close to power cables (?) or this a side effect of Shotguns and tubed gear...any similar findings guys?

    I'm running two pairs of S1's to my 3.1TL's. I definitely noticed a difference when I upgraded from the MH-750's to the S3's on the top end. Bigger difference once I got another pair of S1's from @gmcman
    You should hear a big difference in the bass once you install these. Also the top end will open up big time, almost Audioquest style.

    So this morning I swapped out my MIT T2's, with the Shotguns. Wow! This newbie's ears could immediately notice a much deeper bass response!

    Played some Juno Reactor tonight. The bass definitely digs deeper and tighter! I'll play some more genres to focus on the other aspects, but so far, very impressed with these new cables!

    Don't get me wrong, the T2's are great, a huge step from what I had before (DIY 12ga cables), these Shotguns take it to the next level! :smile:

    Nice Dave. The first thing I noticed when upgrading to the Acoustic Zen was the bass, noise floor and soundstage. Everything sounded better. I probably should go back to the old cables to really pinpoint how much everything improved. Enjoy.
