    Yeah that was intense. Great win for the Blue Note. Feels like the Bruins have played better overall but here we are 2-2. Nothing in the past matters now.

    best of three at this point.

    I felt the bruins were outplayed from the first puck drop. I fell asleep on the couch and missed 50% of the game, but the stats show me i wasn't too far off.

    Again, this is stanley cup hockey.

    I wonder if Chara's jaw is broken... He sat on the bench for the entire 3rd period... A couple of lost teeth wouldn't do that to a hockey player even in the regular season.

    I don't worry about the target stuff... I just don't think he is going to play his normal huge minutes. It's difficult to get the nourishment needed when your jaw is effed up. He is tough but he is also old in hockey years.

    His teammates will get a boost seeing the old warrior out there.

    I realize "that's just hockey" but in a series as tight as this Stanley a couple of blatant blown calls can make the difference in the game. Having said that, the Bruins just got out manned tonight.

    The bruins had every chance to score last night. Cannot discount that. Binnington came to play.

    But if you know an ounce about the game, whether you are a Blues or Bruins fan, you have to admit the officiating has been horrendous.

    It even goes far beyond this series. Look at the "Hand Pass of 2019", or the 5 minute major in the LV series. The refs didn't even see the play, saw blood, called the major, and the opposing team scored 4 goals in that time frame.

    The officiating may be rough but it is rough for both teams. But it is the SC Finals and you just need to go out a grind it out. No use whining and complaining because you can't afford to lose anymore games.... This is is it. The Blues coach after his team got robbed with the hand pass goal told them to shut up and play. So far it is working for them.

    Historically the amount of rough stuff, dirty play etc during the playoffs goes to a different level... It always does. Officiating is always questionable too... Been watching since the 60's. It hasn't changed.... There is better coverage, slow motion, different angles and 3 people in the booth to articulate the calls or lack of but it is still the same.

    It will be no consolation if the Bruins are to lose the series and be able to say they were "manhandled" by the Blues and the refs let them get away with it. Nobody remembers who came in second.
