RT55 vs RTiA3

I currently have a pair of Infinity Qe speakers as my fronts but looking at these two pairs of pills to replace them. Which ones would you recommend?

The RT55's are a fun speaker with loads of bass response and very clear and bright. The RTIA3's are a more refined speaker with less bass , similar sound overall but slightly better detail with less bass response.
The RT55's you have to buy used and the RTIA3's you can still get new.
Personally I would get the RT55's just because I love the older RT sound. It's a huge part of my polk history and journey in audio.
BUT If I where building a everyday system I would get the RTIA3's as you can get the full system and build a modern Atmosphere system with them.

Damn he sold the rtia3s. But someone just poster a pair of monitor 7s. I have a pair of 10s but have no idea how the 7s compare to the 55s for movies and TV shows.

I have had both the M7's and the RT55's. I liked the M7's a lot, but for movies, the RT's are just as good. M7's are better for music. Can't go wrong with either one.

Get the 55's I own a pair and they're in my bedroom system. Phenomenal speakers for the money and they do everything well.
  • Got the RT55s. Love them. Thanks for the help.
