For very near that figure you can get Magnepan's new LRS model. Depending on your listening habits a sub might be needed as well, but reviews are saying the bass performance is pretty good. I had their predecessors, the MMG and love them.

I'm assuming your price point is for unmodified. Well I like my Klipsch KG4's but just not near as much as the SDA's. For $600 you'd be hard pressed to find anything with the potential as SDA's Just my 2 cents worth though.

Harman Kardon T65C w/Grado Gold. (Don't laugh. It sounds great!)

Older ADS speakers have a smooth non fatiguing sound that work well for me when I can't listen to my Polks.

Sanjib, if you are looking for speakers, DollarDave posted fully modified SDA 2B's for sale at the end of February. He never posted that the speakers were sold. He is in the Houston area.

I have 2Bs and the above is the route I most likely am going to take. What do you like to listen to? That can dictate which speakers may work best.

My favorites out of the dozen or so ADS models I've had go through here are the 1530's. Depending on your room size there's really not a bad sounding model right down to the little 200's,
