What kind of weird contortions are they trying to put customers through?
I think it is simpler to just ask you guys. Do they still have Lsi series dipole surrounds?

Are they still selling LSiM702F/X? If so, do they ever go on sale?

They are no longer on Polk's website but Adorama sells them. Looks like Adorama is Polk's prime retailer/order filler for that speaker line now. I have not checked Ebay, but they may show up there occasionally.

I read on another forum they Lsim series is officially out of production, so get them now if you want them. Apparently they won't even replace damaged boxes at this point.

No idea if that's true or not. Just passing along the gossip.

If you go the the Polk website and search on f/x, they list the 702f/x as on sale.

Good find. Says they are on sale for half price and currently available...

Weird that they don't list them in the surround speakers page though.

The 702f/x are very good surround speakers and blend well with the rest of the LSiM series. Beware however that they don't point straight out from the wall, but the tweeter and midrange point at roughly 45° from perpendicular. You will want to place them either slightly behind, or for side surrounds in a 7.x.y system slightly in from of the mail listening position. If that works for you, get them while you can!

BTW, I almost did not read your thread as I found your use of the first 2 words in you title to be very inappropriate.

It is considered a form of swearing, or taking the Lord's Name in vane. Not a big deal, but it just seemed a bit inappropriate or unnecessary, especially given the day you posted it.

@shs it's not. Anyway I already have a pair of them so I know of their peculiarities. Thanks for the lead on the sale!
