    What do you mean every brand has HDMI failures? I was referring to the UE22 error the SC-1222-K and SC-61 are prone to developing. The Marantz you suggested does not appear to develop this.

    There's a pair of Vandersteen subs on Ebay for $600 with crossovers.
    These are magnificent subs!
    For music you'd be very hard pressed to find anything better.
